Paul Walkinton (Owner and Managing Director)
As the Owner and managing director for 3 years I enjoy working at DBJ Furniture Ltd because I like engaging with good creative people both clients and staff. I am very passionate about having strong relationships with key clients. There are many memorable projects I have been a part of at DBJ, and of course the best ones are the most secretive, but all where we have a strong connection with client and designers/architects.
Personally, I love spending time with my family, mountain biking and jet boating to experience the wonderful outdoors we have in NZ.

Martin Lobin (Factory Manager) I am the Factory Manager at DBJ where I have worked for 20 years. I have a Masters in Cabinet making, achieved in Germany on the highest standard. Every job at DBJ is always different, some jobs are more challenging than others, but no matter how small the job they are all special and unique. I enjoy working with people who are forward thinking, and motivated to working towards improvement throughout all levels of the company. What I love most about working at DBJ is the variety and high quality of design and manufacture. One of the most memorable projects I have worked on is our most recent Tara Iti Project with the different materials and the amazing location, and having worked at DBJ for 20 years I have enjoyed being a part of many amazing projects like this.
If I am not at DBJ, then I am with my family or mountain biking with my 2 Kids, or you will find me on the Golfcourse!
